KARATE EN LOS JUEGOS EUROPEOS 2015.

El Presidente de la WKF, D. Antonio Espinós, en su calidad de Presidente de la Federación Europea de Karate, ha viajado a Bakú (Azerbaiyán) para formalizar oficialmente la participación de Karate en los Juegos Europeos 2015.

Este proyecto fue aprobado en diciembre pasado en Roma por la Asamblea General de los Comités Olímpicos Europeos (EOC), presidida por el Sr. Patrick Hickey.

La inclusión del Karate en Bakú 2015, le permite a la WKF agregar su presencia a este nuevo evento deportivo del ciclo olímpico.

La propuesta EKF, ser confirmadas por el COE y los organizadores, incluye 96 atletas de los 12 oficiales WKF las distintas categorías de Kata y Kumite, y considera la participación de 1 atleta local de cada categoría, el evento se llevará a cabo en junio de 2015 y por lo tanto, la última EKF Congreso celebrado en Budapest aprobó en mayo para celebrar el 2015 Campeonato de Europa Senior – prueba de clasificación de correo para estos Juegos de 2015-en Europa el mes de abril, lo que permite a los medallistas de 2015 para participar en el evento.

Sr. Antonio Espinós, acompañado por el Presidente de la Federación Nacional de Karate de Azerbaiyán, Sr. Yasser Bashirov, fue recibido y se reunió con el Ministro de Deportes de Azerbaiyán Sr. Azad Rahimov, a quien queremos dar las gracias por su amabilidad y responsabilidad. También visitaron la sede de 2015 programada karate en la EXPO de Bakú, así como la Villa Olímpica y las oficinas de EOC en Bakú, y, por último, el Sr. Espinós visitaron junto con el Sr. Bashirov las oficinas de la Federación de Karate de Azerbaiyán y mantener un reunión con los dirigentes de la Federación Nacional.

•KARATE IN THE 2015 EUROPEAN GAMES

The WKF President Antonio Espinós, in his quality of European Karate Federation President, has travelled to Baku (Azerbaijan) to officially formalize the participation of Karate in the 2015 European Games. This project was approved last December in Rome by the General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) presided by Mr. Patrick Hickey.

Karate inclusion in Baku 2015 allows the WKF to add its presence to this new multisport event of the Olympic cycle. The EKF proposal, to be confirmed by the EOC and the organizers, includes 96 athletes in the 12 official WKF individual categories of Kata and Kumite, and considers the participation of 1 local athlete per category; the event will take place in June of 2015 and therefore the last EKF Congress celebrated in Budapest in May approved to hold the 2015 European Senior Championships – mail qualification event for these 2015 European Games- in the month of April, thus allowing the 2015 medalists to take part in the event.

Mr. Antonio Espinós, accompanied by the President of the National Karate Federation of Azerbaijan, Mr. Yassar Bashirov, was received and met the Sports Minister of Azerbaijan Mr. Azad Rahimov, to whom we want to thank for his kindness and accountability. Also they visited the 2015 scheduled karate venue in the EXPO of Baku, as well as the Olympic Village and the EOC offices in Baku, and finally, Mr. Espinós visited together with Mr. Bashirov the offices of the Karate Federation of Azerbaijan and hold a meeting with the leadership of the NF.
